Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Spring Valentine’s Wreath using Spiral Flower Die
After the surprise popularity of the Butterfly Wreath during SpringWatch, I decided to make a valentines type variation of it using Red LED lights and then gorgeous flowers!
My die choice for the roses was the Spiral Flower Die which is marvellous as you can cut 4 flowers in one go!
Then the other ones are created using the Fun Flower and Pansy Punches with a Vintage Faceted Button for the centre.
A hot glue gun, not my favourite thing, was the best way to stick everything down. Fortunately no burns, but I think it’s because my gun is on it’s last legs and takes an absolute age to warm up and then just leaves spindly strings of gluey stuff floating around everywhere!
So I now have this sitting on the mantlepiece in my lounge it is very pretty, both in the day and at night when I turn the lights on!
Enjoy!
