Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles Big Shot Showcase Bath & Beauty Box Tutorial
I don’t show the Big Shot in videos particularly often. Mostly because the way that my tripod is positioned, I’m liable to take out the legs at any moment in time, but not really because of much more than that.
However, today I decided to show how to make a pretty box and then decorate using 3 different types of tool for the Big Shot and do a bit of a ‘Big Shot Showcase’ for you!
I’ve got embosslits, framelits and a BigZ die going on, and therefore, lots of different cutting platforms too….
The box itself is simple enough – half a sheet of patterned paper, 12 x 6″ (30.5 x 15cm) scored on the long side at 1.5, 5.75, 7.25, 11.5″ (4, 14.5, 18.5, 29cm) and on the short side at 1.5″ (4cm) – the rest is just using beautiful big shot accessories (listed below!)
And I do understand that buying a Big Shot is a considered expense for a large tool, and to be fair, I paid full price for mine, but if you’re already shopping with Stampin’ Up! and have a large wish list, with orders over £300 you get to choose an item for half price, along with the regular £50 of free £££s plus the bonus £20 free £££s during Sale a Bration.
So for £344 you could have £457 worth of product…. that’s over £113 worth of stuff for FREE! Wow! Okay, even I hadn’t worked that one out before writing this post!!!!
I do hope you enjoy the video and that you find my sharing of the accessories and how to use them helpful!
