Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Thank You Card using Stampin’ Up! Painted Blooms DSP
I really enjoyed making Thursday’s DSP layered card and wanted to make another, but in totally girly colours.
When I first started papercrafting well over a decade ago, I didn’t ever use rubber stamps. I only used paper and punches, and it was very rare that I ever used any kind of sentiment or greeting.
And with my passionate love affair with the Painted Blooms collection in full flight, I wanted to do a bit of a showcase of them.
What’s amusing though is that about 3 days after I made these 2 cards (which was way before I went out to America at the end of last month), I then came across a video of this lady who made 27 cards in approximately 5 hours that was then sped up for video to 30 minutes. I loved the video and had never seen filming like it, and it sort of reinforced that lots of layers of DSP with minimal stamping is okay!
So you can see, my card is all about the paper, and a smidgen of stamping with the matching Painted Petals stamp set.
I used lots of circle punches to lift that up, although, like Thursday’s card, there’s not dimensional elevation….
Are you a DSP user in this manner too???
