South Hill Designs & Stampin’ Up! Sunday Mother’s Day Card and Locket Tutorial
I love to mix up my working lives, so with Mother’s Day only a month away (a month today everyone, don’t forget!), I took the opportunity to share my Mum’s favourite colour and then a variation using my own birthstone colour of March.
You all know what I’m like too with my stamping. I’m either extremely simple and use one stamp and ink or I use loads.
Today’s card is the frugal end of the scale and literally uses one set, Mum’s Love, one ink and matching cardstock and paper – Marina Mist/Wisteria Wonder, and then a scatter of Basics Rhinestones.
Simple doesn’t need to be plain, and I love how this has turned out and would love to receive it. If my children weren’t such regular stampers themselves, I’d probably hand this to my husband and get him to have the boys sign it for me. As such, I have no doubt they’ll make me a card by themselves!
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to support Pootles! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!
