Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Painted Blooms Thank You Cards
Well I’m hoping that these have all arrived now, my February Thank You Cards!
It was a real family affair this month with my Mum and 6 year old son Jacob helping out with the final assembly of the cards (Jacob was in charge of the pegs and embellishments, Mum was in charge of the dimensionals!), then when I came to put them together with the gifts, Jack, my 11 year old, was in charge of putting almost 100 packs together!
And I loved making this one! To be fair, I love making all my thank you cards, in fact, all my cards, but given my current addiction to using DSP on cards, these were a lot of fun to make! And Jacob had a whale of a time rummaging through my embellishments to choose what went on each one. We had Hardware Clips, Hodge Podge Clips, In Colour Clothes Pegs, Metallics Clothes Pegs and the plain ones too!
They are a bit different (you’ll see them all at the bottom of the post!), with all the sheets of Painted Blooms DSP being used and therefore, having the cardstock to match.
The stamping on the front though, that was identical across all the cards, Rose Red as the background (stamped with the Painted Petals flowers) and the Thank You (from Another Thank You) was stamped in Blackberry Bliss onto a piece of cardstock 2~3/4″ square (7cm) which was matted onto the matching cardstock of 3″ (7.5cm)
A lot of fun was had by all of us, and I hope you get some fun out of DSP too!
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to support Pootles! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!
