Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Itty Bitty Inchies Aperture Card
I was having a good old wander around pinterest a few weeks ago, and while on my travels, I ended up going to my own board to have a look at some of my older projects. I came across a couple that prompted today’s card, and there’s nothing wrong with being inspired by yourself!
I’ve done inchie cards a few times before on here, and I’ve done the punch/cut out thing on a few occasions too, so I decided to mix it up a little to create this card!
To start, you cut the aperture first out of whisper white, then you punch around the aperture. Don’t do it the other way around, you’ll end up in a right old fiddly pickle!
I wanted a little sparkle in the background, hence the Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper, offset by the colour of the cardstock colours.
Rose Red, Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette are a very pretty trio, and balanced on a 3-strand effect of the baker’s twine, on a Sahara Sand cardbase and it’s a delicate little card.
My punches? Well, of course, Itty Bitty Accents makes a great aperture. Then the 1″ Square for the white, 3/4″ Circle for the hidden sparkle, and the Postage Stamp for the backdrop.
A lot easier than I’ve made it sound, I’d love to see your versions!
