Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator Pootles – A Kind & Cozy Flowerpot
Okay, I’m either really witty or a tumbleweed has just rolled past, but the dodgy title is to try and incorporate the stamp set I used with the DSP.
Did it work? I dunno…. depends on how many people smacked their foreheads and shook their heads as the tumbleweeds rolled on by….
Well, I’m not known for my wit so I can be excused can’t I????
Anyway, enough of that, as you can see, the stamping is using the oh so very beautiful Kind & Cozy stamp set. I really love this one. I forgot just how much I loved it until the office overhaul came about and my stamp sets got positioned in a different ‘order’ to how they’d been before. If you’ve not seen how my stamps are laid out, I have 4 DVD racks and a wooden one. Then I group them – Sale a Bration, Spring Catalogue. Then I split the Annual Catalogue sets down into ‘sentiments’ and ‘matching punch’ and ‘framelits’ and so on. I even have a section for ‘images no words’ and ‘images with words’…. yes, I am that overly organised.
But what I’m trying to say is that the 5 racks used to be grouped in a particular way and when I put them back, 2 racks got swapped about.
It’s no bad thing though, as it’s meant that when I go looking for a particular set, I look to where it used to be and then find something new!
Gosh, that was long winded wasn’t it…..
So anyway, I pulled out Kind & Cozy and decided to work a panel of Flowerpot DSP into it. I think it works rather well over the Blushing Bride cardstock and ink-tipped Petite Petals and Itty Bitty flowers.
Not bad for a card that wasn’t planned in the slightest, but created out of rediscovering an old favourite stamp set!
