South Hill & Stampin’ Up! Sunday Easter Chick Pretties
Oh it’s just so cute!
When I started putting together lockets for my South Hill Designs Blog I had to pull out the little Chick from the Animal Collection, and with the rather cute For Peep’s Sake stamp set in the Spring Catalogue, it seemed to be a perfect pairing!
I created the daffodils and daisies by punching So Saffron Petite Petals and adding tiny buttons to their centres, then the daisies are simply Itty Bitty Accent flowers with matching So Saffron Candy Dots in them.
But the stamping is where the fun is at!
It’s self coloured heat embossing….
You take your stamp to the Versamark ink first. Then you take the stamp to the colour you’d like and stamp onto your paper.
You’re now left with a sticky coloured image that you sprinkle Clear Embossing Powder onto and heat that up.
Tra la! Instant any-colour heat embossing!
I hope you enjoy my chattery video. It’s not a craft tutorial this week (they resume from next Sunday…!), but it’s a nice chance for me to chat for a while for a change!
I hope you enjoyed this project, please do use the hostess code to support Pootles! (hostess code shown in the top right of my blog for the current one!) If your order is over £150, please do not use this code as You become the hostess and get the Rewards!
Don’t forget about Sale a Bration….!
