I’m back!

Did you miss me?  Well hopefully you won’t have noticed that I was gone.  My children and I have all been sick since Friday and it’s not been pretty!

Fortunately I do write ahead of time, and that meant that I was able to be ‘off sick’ without interruption to normal service….

I have to confess though, yesterday’s post was written on Sunday right as it was dawning on me that yes, I probably had caught the same bug as the boys, and it wasn’t as long as I’d usually write, but heck, you don’t need to know my life story.

So with that in mind, let’s get normal service resumed!

So today’s video project is fairly specific for the Burts Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream (I love this stuff), but I know that a lot of pampering treats come in similar sized tins, so even if you’re not a fan (shock horror!) or can’t get it easily, I bet you could fit other goodies inside!

I’m a little bit pleased with how this box came out, I knew that I wanted it to be a sort of treasure box opening, and I love it!

 

I can assure you, it’s really easy to make, and you can get 2 boxes and 2 inners from a sheet of A4 cardstock with bits to spare (those of you with 8.5 x 11″ you can’t get the inners at my dimensions, you’d need scrap cardstock for yours!), so I’m rather chuffed with it all!

Cardstock – 8 x 4-1/2″ (20.5 x 11.5cm)

Score on the LONG side at 1, 2, 4-1/2, 5-1/2″ (2.5, 5, 11.5, 14cm)

Score on the SHORT side at 1, 3-1/2″ (2.5, 9cm)

INNER

Cardstock – 4 x 2-3/8″ (9 x 6cm)

Score on the LONG side at 7/8, 1-3/4, 2-5/8, 3-1/2″ (2, 4, 6, 8cm)

DSP Wrap – 8 x 2″ (20 x 5cm)
