 Don’t forget about Sale a Bration….!

LAST DAY TODAY!!!!!

Stampin' Up Demonstrator Pootles - Another Thank You with Sweet Taffy DSP Close Up

I don’t make 3×3 cards hugely often, but when I do, I like to keep them small (ha!), simple (of course!) and full of Pow!

And when you have a gorgeously bright paper such as the Sweet Taffy DSP, you have almost every colour of the rainbow to play with!

I went with Tempting Turquoise today, mostly because it’s a colour that I overlook, but also because it added the perfect Pow to the card that I wanted!

So to make and layer a 3×3″ card you start with a card blank of 3 x 6″ (7.5 x 15cm) and fold it in half.

The top layer of DSP is 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ (7 x 7cm) and my panelling on the front is 2-5/8 x 2-1/8″ (6.5 x 5.5cm) and the sentiment, from the gorgeous Another Thank You set is on a piece of whisper white cardstock measuring 2-1/2 x 2″ (6 x 5cm)

After stamping, it just needed a little scatter of rhinestones and it was done.

Small, simple and full of Pow!

I hope you like it!

Thank you for sharing your talents, Sam. I am putting together a basket of 3×3 cards, but became stymied. A CASE of your card will definitely be added. I love the “Pow” factor; it is eye-catching yet not overwhelming.

Thanks for the card tutorial. Love the cards you make. Busy day here, or as my grandson says, “It’s cupcake day” instead of birthday.

This size of cards are just perfect for a gift, they’re easy to make and always appreciated. Your card is so bright and colorful, Tempting Turquoise is a very happy color. This DSP is amazing, love it.
