Pootles’ Yankee Candle Jar Box Tutorial using Stampin’ Up! Supplies
Well pinch punch, first of the month!
It’s April and doesn’t it feel like it’s taken forever to get here! I wanted a springlike project for you today, and this one is definitely that, but with what ended up as a sort of oriental twist to it.
I wasn’t planning a pagoda with cherry blossom across it, but this box definitely does look like that doesn’t it!
Making boxes is definitely where my passion lies, and when I have something specific to go inside (that everyone has access to…!), then I’m a very happy Pootles!
This beautiful Yankee Candle small jar is a popular gift, so prettying it up further with a lovely box is ideal in my humble opinion!
However, if you don’t have yankee jars, or want the box for other goodies, the finished dimensions are below!
I hope you enjoy the video!
Have a good Wednesday!

Morning Sam! Oh I like this size of a box! I will give that a try one day! I hope you are healthy again. I wish you and your lovely family a very happy easter!
Greetings Iris xx
I always love a milk carton box! This stamp fits perfectly on the panels and looks just lovely!! tfs!!
Yankee Candles are a great gift for any occasion but, when you give them inside a gorgeous gift box like this one, they are double appreciated. I love this design, this stamp set is simply beautiful.
Thank you so much for your videos Sam, they help start my day up here in the USA with a smile.
Happy April Fools’ Day, Sam! Thank you for another great idea!
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing so many wonderful ideas every day! I’ve only been following you for a few months (couldn’t believe it the other day when you posted that it was only your 2nd anniversary — you are so talented!), but have saved so many of your posts already because there are so many terrific ones that I want to give a try to. Thanks so much for sharing your talent, creativity and humor with us.
Thoughts & Prayers. Is what this set is called in Australia. It is a lovely stamp set..
A lovely box too. Thank you Sam
Lovely box with much liked stamps. Praying you are on the healthy road. Now that I am another year older, I appreciate more beauty in things I see.
Another fantastic idea! I love the panels on the side and the little flowers on top. Perfect for lots of gift types.
Do you have a Bath and Body Works? I would love a box to fit one of their large jar candles that has three wicks. I think the candles from B&B Works are the best!
I love your website, everything about it, including your very friendly and charming voice and sometimes chuckle/giggle. I found your site about 6 months ago and for the past few months it is my first ‘go to’ website every morning. You are definitely in the right business as you so easily show your love of the products and are such an laid back style teacher. By now, I can’t even pick a favorite project you’ve done as I have sooo many, and have made quite a few of them, even some with ‘poodle loops’. Joyce in Georgia, USA
Love this box. I worked for Yankee Candle for a few years and now have my own small Yankee Candle collection that I use for myself and to give away and this box is perfect. Thank you.
That’s two days in a row a spent a little time doing something I love! Thanks for the inspiration, filled my boxes with Easter eggs…my easter gifts this year
THANK YOU FOR A ANOTHER GREAT GIFTS BLESS YOU!!!
I LOVE this! I buy these candles for gifts and now can make the box! I like the panels on the box too! Never thought of that! Thank goodness for your creativity, Sam! Keep these awesome projects coming!
