A Regal Rainbow of Big on You Cards

Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – A Regal Rainbow of Big on You Cards

So today’s card is actually a collection of cards!

I was looking at my embellishment caddy and looking at the buttons, thinking to myself that I really needed to use them a little more. As you know, I’m a bit iffy with buttons, particularly fish eye buttons, but these ones are okay. They’re housed in a pot for starters and aren’t likely to jump up and scare me. Seriously, buttons are like ninjas!

But I wanted to use them, and I like that although there are only 6 out of 10 of the colours in each collection, the Regals do have a rainbow of them and that was my starting point.

I also though, wanted to use the new Big on You stamp set from the Spring Catalogue.

It’s a whopper of a set and as you can see, isn’t not shy and retiring by any stretch of the imagination!

So my layout is as follows card blank in the dominant colour, layer of Silver Fancy Foil Vellum. My sentiment in stamped onto a piece of whisper white cardstock measuring 11 x 9cm (4-3/8 x 3-1/2″) and mounted onto a further piece of coloured cardstock measuring 11.5 x 9.5cm (4-1/2 x 3-5/8″)

And just a scattering of buttons in the same matching colours.

And what are those colours?  We have Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Island Indigo and Elegant Eggplant. All to match the Buttons!
