Stampin’ Up! Gold Soiree DSP Favour Pouch Tutorial
Don’t you just love everything in miniature?
Today’s project is one that was mulling around in my head for a while, and I wanted to see if it was possible/feasible to make a large number of favour pouches from one sheet of 12×12 DSP.
Well, I’m pleased to say that you can make 8 of these darling little favours and yes, they hold a good amount, despite their diminutive size!
As I demonstrate, you can have a lollipop in them with the stick popping out of the top, or you can certainly fit 5 sugared almonds as per bridal tradition.
And you know what, I’m stunned at just how fast this was to put together! It’s a video that is less than 5 minutes! Seriously!
We had 100 people to our wedding, so I guess that’s probably about average? You could whip up 100 of these in no time at all!
Well, dependent on how many glasses of wine you and the bridesmaids enjoy the evening you’re having your girly get together….
Anyway, enjoy the video, and perhaps you’ll make some too!

Hi Sam, gorgeous little bags – I love them, they look elegant and cute at the same time! Hope you are not too frazzled by yesterdays’ Stampin’ Up debacle? Finally got to place my order this morning (I couldn’t sleep, so browsing the online shop seemed mush more appealing than counting sheep!?!) I got bargains on some of the items that were on my wish list and I also popped in a few things I didn’t want to miss out on, seeing they won’t be around forever (some stuff has already gone!) Anyway, thanks for keeping us updated yesterday. Karen S
Gorgeous little gold bags Sam!!
Lovely, simply lovely little pouches, the gold DSP really looks so elegant and sophisticated, I can see this little darlings sitting pretty on a beautifully decorated wedding table. I love them and they are really roomy, I think you can even place a couple of Hershey’s kisses in there.
Thank you for sharing Sam and I’m glad the SU technical troubles are all solved.
Another simple & stylish and gorgeous & cute idea !! Not only for a wedding party – think for example at Mr. Santa, Christmas always comes sooo suddenly :-))
In Germany, we also had some difficulties with our SU-orders last night. But think positive: new catalogue is coming soon!
Too cute Sam, I love it
