Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Bright and Black Work of Art
I love our Brights Collection of colours. They really do shout ‘rainbow’ when you see them lined up, but if you pull out a trio of colours, pretty much any combination will work, no matter which trio!
I have here now, the lovely trio of Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry.
Granted, I did select these 3 in particular because of the buttons, but they are rather fabulous aren’t they?
I used Stampin’ Write Markers in those colours, and Basic Black, to pick out the wording from the Work of Art stamp set and set them on a panel of 2.5 x 1.75″ (6.5 x 4.5cm) whisper white, which was matted on a layer of 2.75 x 2″ (7 x 5cm) white.
All on the Basic Black card with the Whisper White Baker’s Twine holding the buttons in place.
Simple but powerful I think!

Unexpected and beautiful!
I love this card. Black with that little pop of color is just stunning! Thanks again for sharing.
Cute! Love bright and black combos! Thank you for sharing.
Really like this one. It really stands out without being too in your face (if that makes sense) x
I think that black and white with a pop of color is always stunning. I really like that you chose soft colors in the button embellishments, that was a surprise.
Love this, so stunningly simple.
Really like this card, thanks for sharing:)
