Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – For the New Two, Butterfly Basics

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - For the New Two, Butterfly Basics Close Up

I love a soft pairing of colours and when you add Crumb Cake to a beautiful colour such as Pink Pirouette, it’s definitely a pretty pairing!

The Butterfly Basics stamp set has been a real grower on me. I struggled at first and am still not overly keen on that big old sun on it, but I love the rest of it, particularly the sentiment!

I don’t really do whimsy and vintagey all that well, but for me, if I can pick out bits of a stamp set and use them over and over again, then I have got my money’s worth!

I’m a bit like that with the For The New Two set aswell. I don’t really attend weddings these days, I couldn’t tell you the last, but the flowers are so pretty!

Can you see the shine on them? I added some Crystal Effects gloss to them to give them a glossy look that’s raised a little.

And of course, Pootleloops had to make an appearance when added under an Itty Bitty Butterfly that’s sitting on the Decorative Label punch out…

I love it!

I hope you do too!

Lynda is right, you must be thinking of Kinda Eclectic. I actually like that big ol’ sun. It is great as a sort of halo behind smaller elements, or monochromatically placed randomly around in a background. As for today’s card, how I wish I had some Pink Pirouette cardstock on hand… this card is so beautiful! There are so many people who need to be reminded of how wonderful they are and this sentiment is perfect for anybody who needs a boost of confidence.

This is a lovely, beautiful and oh! so feminine card, love the softness all around the main image and, of course, adore your Pootle Loops.
The sentiment is just fabulous to give some one a real pick up!!!!!
    Thank you for sharing.

This is beautiful Sam and the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set is at the top of my list for my next order. I have Crumb Cake Card and looks like I will be adding Pink Pirouette to the order too.
