Stampin’ Up! demonstrator Pootles – A Kinda Eclectic Butterfly
I rather love a layered card and today, we have lots of layers!
Cardstock base, mat, layer. Banner and layer. Stamping and butterflies.
Layers, layers and more layers!
But that’s what makes a card take on some life. It’s rare that I adhere a mat directly to a card base, I like to give them a little ‘oomph’ so I’m a prolific user of dimensionals!
But you can see how the card has turned out. I used Wild Wasabi for the leaves and card mat, then So Saffron for the butterflies (stamped 3 times without reinking to get the faded colour) and also for the card base.
My sentiment panel measures 8 x 3.5cm (3-1/8 x 1-3/8″) and the glimmer behind is 8.5 x 4cm (3-1/4 x 1-1/2″)
And I love it!
Kinda Eclectic is a great stamp set, even without the sun being used. Ever….

Really gorgeous card Sam. I’m a pushover for butterflies and I love the colors. They remind me of a tropical drink, tangy and refreshing. Great job
Lovely, fresh colors, this card would brighten anyone’s day. I love the “Tall and Skinny” look of your card, I think that besides looking so beautiful, it looks elegant too. The Pearls and the Glimmer Paper are a fabulous detail.
Thank you for sharing.

Check to make sure you are using the correct regulator. There are different regulators that deliver different pressures. The nameplate should give the pressure of which it was designed to have supplied.Sounds like this is your problem.Check this before anything else is done.If in question try another regulator that supplies the right pressure.
