Pootles 6×6 Week #2 Skinny Box Tutorial
Skinny day today!
I love a shallow box, they look so effortless and yet so complicated at the same time!
I wouldn’t say that this is a difficult box to make, but if you’re like me and have fumbly fingers, perhaps choose your adhesive in advance as it’s a series of tiny tabs you’re going to be sticking in place….
When I designed this box, I knew that I wanted to show off the Cherry on Top paper to you during the build and I had in mind some skinny sweeties to put inside (specifically liquorice torpedos!) but I didn’t get them in time. However, you could still fit all sorts of treats inside. It’s not deep enough for tea lights, but maybe you could be a little inventive with your gifts???
Anyway, I hope you like the project and video!

I’m so looking forward to this weekend where I’m going to try everything you’ve posted this week. I have been buying and almost collecting pads and pads of 6×6 stacks for years and have been having a hard time using them up without wasting so much in bits and pieces. I’m so psyched that you’re making a whole series that uses up the whole sheet of these gorgeous 6×6 DSPs!
good skinny box! will be casing this one. thank you!
