Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Sherbet Bottles and Straws!
Oh these are just too adorable!
I love sherbet, it takes me straight back to my childhood when you’d get a straw filled tube and you’d take a suck, somehow end up breathing in, and then coughing up clouds of the stuff. But once you got past the initial suck-not-breathe complications, the sharp, sweet, tangy taste was sublime!
It was while surfing on Amazon for sweeties for another project that I came across sherbet and knew exactly what I wanted to do.
I had a whole raft of colours to choose from, and decided that while I pretty much always give my edible craft projects to my boys, well, it was going to be girly pink, come what may!
I will give you links below to the various supplies I shopped for that aren’t Stampin’ Up! but this is what I have used that is ours…

When I first saw this bottle at your FB page, I thought it was sand inside. Now I get it ! it sounds yummy. Thanks for sharing x
As a child I had liquorice straws with my sherbet, but your bottle and straw looks much prettier (and less messy!).
Looks yummy, and what a cute gift! tfs!
Sam what a lovely summer treat. Being in the States I wasn’t exactly sure what Sherbet was but it looked similar to our Pixie Sticks (flavored colored sugar in a straw) so I clicked on the link and read that it comes with a lolly pop, which then reminded me of Fun Dip. Another powdered sugar candy. Thank you for a great summertime project!
Sam..I have been following you for some time now and just love your tutorials!
I do have one suggestion. I have a hard time hearing the video. You speak very fast and I find myself with my face to the screen trying to catch every word. Maybe speaking slower and a bit louder would help. I am sure I am not the only one having some difficulty.
You are very talented and thank you for sharing it with all of us.
Here in the states we have Pixi sticks. I could not understand how you got Sherbet in a bottle. Lol. Now I see it is like our Pixi Stick filling. Lol. So fun listening to the difference in our words. But I do have to say that I say Macaroon the exact same way. Lol.
Checked on Wikipedia and Pixie sticks here in the states and Sherbet are the same type of candy, was a fun find. Love the bottle idea.
