Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Watercolor Wings, Bold Butterflies and Fluttering!
Okay, so it seems to have taken me a while to jump on the Watercolor Wings bandwagon, but I’m so glad I’ve eventually got around to it!
I went all out fluttery on this card, with the Fluttering Embossing Folder as the background, the stamping, then the die cutting with the Bold Butterflies stamp set.
It’s not my usual kind of card, but for a first foray into this highly detailed type of die cutting, I’m rather pleased! I think I will play a little more before I’m fully comfortable with it, but it’s good to test oneself now and again, don’t you think?
Are you like me? Wanting to use a stamp set or die, but not sure where to start? Just go for it! I did and am pretty okay with the result!

I adore this stamp set! This is the first time that I have seen this color combination–I love it. Sam, you are my number one go-to girl for inspiration and conversation. Thank you for sharing, always.
Hi Sam
Just checking on the colours you used – Smokey Gray, Rose Red and Pink Pirouette???
Many thanks
Lynn
Hi Sam, you did good!!! Lovely card (like many people I love butterflies) and the colours are nice. This stamp set and the dies are on my ‘wish list’, but having seen some of the stuff coming up in the holiday catalogue, they might just have to get bumped down the list! x
Very nice, and such a great combination. Is there a video ?
Hi Sam, I’m like you when I get a stamp set I never know what to do with it. Lol. Give yourself a big pat on the back Sam this is a lovely card. Are you going to show us how you made it?
