Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Hinged Floral Bottle Box Tutorial using Stampin’ Up! DSP
Well how cute is this??
I designed it a fair few weeks ago, but was unsure how to decorate it. I didn’t want to have a heavily embellished box as I felt the style was enough decoration, and I’m glad I hung on!
The pretty purply colour on the left uses the new Into the Woods DSP that’s due out in a week or so with the new seasonal catalogue. Isn’t it gorgeous?
But of course, I wanted to do a different version, so I made use of the Timeless Elegance paper which I’m so in love with.
I love the way it opens and closes and love that little figure of eight loop system.
I hope you can make use of this box design, and perhaps you’ll share it with me too!

Fabulous box, love it, the closure side is so unique, I don’t think you’ve done another box like this one, LOVE IT SAM!!!!!
Your boxes have been a total hit with my family, they love them as much as the gifts they hold.

Sam this is so cute, I love it. The little bottle is perfect for a little treat.
Hi Sam, What a great box and just what a friend has asked me to mAdi x
ake for her, a small box for necklaces she want to put in charity boxes she puts together.
you are such an inspiration thanks for all your tutorials keep them coming
You are such a clever, creative person Sam! Great box – thank you!
Hi Sam, I agree with Maria. I’ve been following your videos and haven’t come across such box! Me too… love the unique closure. Got to give it a try!
All of your photos look well lit. How do you do that? Do you also edit the pictures?
Hi Sam, I liked this box as soon as I saw it (especially the Black/Timeless Elegance version). I have altered the closure slightly – I found it too gappy and flimsy at the front for me – so I added 1/2″ on the short side of the front for 2 ‘flaps’ and it closes much better and is a little sturdier. Your video tutorials have taught me well, thanks Sam x I also made the 4×4 box from a couple of days ago – love it! Though I added an extra layer of DSP to the top (I couldn’t live with all that blank space!?!) and it looks very pretty, I just have to make a matching card to put inside it now. But the great thing about that box is it is so versatile, I am going to make a few more to store little SU supplies and my magnets. Thanks for the inspirational ideas Sam. Best wishes, Karen x
Sam love everything about this! The little bottles could be filled with so many things and the box is a perfect presentation. As ever, thanks for all you share.xx
