Pootles’ August Thank You Gifts + Appearance by Fennel…
Oh my cheeky kitty! Fennel put in a surprise appearance at the start of the video and proceeded to parade all around my computer desk the whole video.
I had a day of filming last week and she meowed through many of the videos but this one she decided was the one to star in in real life…
I absolutely adore her and she makes sure she’s always near me. As I type this, she’s sat to my right and is totally restricting my typing abilities, but that’s okay, she’s beautiful and a wonderful companion.
But onto this project, well, this month I wanted to send out edible goodies to my lovely customers. I spotted some posh chocolates in Tesco earlier in the month and knew that they definitely had to be the gift I sent out.
And of course, because I’m a huge fan of the Envelope Punch Board, I took that and some precut papers on holiday with me and actually did the bulk of the work in the evenings!
So I hope you enjoy the project and if you’d like to take a peek at all the photos from the group, they’re here for you. Scroll through with the arrows on the right. Luke was my helper this month!

Hi from the States. Your darling bird treat envelope is amazing. Love your work. Great job. Thanks
Beautiful video as usual, Sam. Your posts are one of the first I read every morning via email.
I ordered from you as well in August with a hostess code, but I didn’t get one of these cuties 🙁
Greetings from Scotland, Nessie
Thank you so much for sharing what you sent. I am always curious as to what you send out to your customers. Also curious as to what sort of envelope you mailed these in so they do not get smashed. You do an awesome job and I could sit and listen to you all day!!
I just should have waited a bit longer, I got my little birdie now and I am in love! But – you do on purpose – send this wonderful cards as well… I swore not to order another stamp set – but this watercolour look is sooo pretty!
Thank you, also for the lovely letter,
Nessie
Love these! I think our mini candy bars in the states would fit in these. tfs!
Love these gifties! I had forgotten about my bird builder punch – need to pull it out and start using it. Thanks for this great idea. Great party favors, stocking stuffers – lots of ways to use something like this. Have a great weekend. And it is always such fun to see Fennel.
Loved the “thank you” treats…but especially seeing Fennel in action! Made me remember all the fun antics of our cat “Spot” that we enjoyed for 18 years! Your e-mails are great, Sam! Look forward to seeing them online!! What a special treat!….from St. Louis, Missouri
Wonderful project!! Love your kitty. We have 6 of them at our home.
Thank you for a wonderful idea. I can use the new Merry Moments dsp stack to make them.. Hello from Wisconsin, USA
