South Hill Designs & Stampin’ Up! Sunday Heart Locket Duo
Okay, so we’re back around to a Sunday again and a few weeks ago, I asked you all what you’d do differently to a card project that I’d made to match a locket.
Most of you suggested a shaker card, so in honour of your suggestions, that’s what I have here, all beit to a different design!
But of course, how do you make it? Well shaker cards are much easier to make than you’d think….
Starting from the uppermost layer, my card is as follows
White layer with heart cut out – 2.25 x 4.5″ (6x 11.5cm)
Acetate layer behind heart – 2 x 2″ (5 x 5cm) Adhere this directly to the back of the previous layer
Black panel behind the heart – 2 x 2″ (5 x 5cm)
White backing panel – 2.5 x 4.75″ (6.5 x 12cm) Adhere the previous 2″ black panel to this)
Black backing panel – 2.75 x 5″ (7 x 12.5cm)
Super easy, it sounds complicated, but as long as you cut your layers before sticking them all down, you’ll be absolutely fine!
I hope you like the project, and that you take a moment to check out my South Hill Designs blog too!

I love the card you have made, I have been shown and made one before and that came out great. But your techechnique has given me some ideas to do smaller shaker cards, which is great for the comming season.
Thank you for all your lovely ideas.
