Pootles Advent Countdown #2 Vellum Wrapped Gift Box Tutorial
Okay, so we’re onto project number 2! And you know what? After Monday’s project, I’m feeling very festive now. I know that sounds daft considering I’ve been working with Christmas stuff for months, but when you’re on your own inside a season, then once people start joining you in the festivities, it’s almost as though I’ve been given permission to break out the fairy lights and don a festive hat.
Although as a disclaimer, I have 2 sets of fairy lights in my office permanently, so actually, I’m just a festive junkie all year round….
Ahem!
Moving on…. today’s project is a showcase of the beautiful Foiled Vellum more than the box, but heck, who cares what it’s wrapped around, it’s DIVINE!!!!
The box is easy to make and the wrap is too, and I had a lot of fun with my embellishments!
I used the Snow Flurry punch on some of the printed vellum for the Cherry Cobbler box. Stampin’ Up! is so clever to create the vellum to match too!
Anyway, on with the project, and of course, details are below of sizes, dimensions and products used.

Hi Sam…Nancy here, from the US!! Love your videos and tutorials, was wondering if you have a printable file for any of your projects so that I don’t have to turn my computer or phone on every time I want to make anything. I have made several of your boxes and
love the advent projects. I am currently making #1 but am going to try to make it a garland.
Oooo no I haven’t. Only what you see on here and on the videos. Sorry. It would treble my workload to do pdf too! X
You are the most creative one! Such an inspiration. I am saving all of your posts.
