Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Pink and a spot of Gold with Stampin’ Up! Garden in Bloom
Well firstly I have to say that I’m feeling much better than I was all weekend. Thank you to everyone who sent get well wishes. I can’t bear being ill and do all that I can to keep myself out of ‘harms way’, but unfortunately, despite best efforts, I came down with a horrid stomach upset.
Anyway though, I’m much better now, and despite it being 9pm at night, I have remarkable levels of energy!
So onto the card today. Well, I have to put it straight out there that I think this might look better with silver heat embossing rather than gold. But as you know, I have a list of fun colour combinations that I work with and this wa one of them.
Blushing Bride, Rose Red, Black, White, Gold.
Well I certainly filled my self appointed brief, but hindsight tells me that silver butterflies may work better.
What do you think?
I love the Garden in Bloom set though, and I think there is little that wouldn’t work with it, and that amazing sentiment from Lighthearted Leaves is perfect to go with it.
I hope you like the card and I’d love to hear if you’re a Silver or Gold voter…!
S xx

I’m a silver girl myself, but the gold looks great too. X
Glad to know you’re back to 100%
I usually prefer silver, but I think in this case, the gold works better because it would stand out more.
Silver for me Sam as I think it matches the colours you have chosen.
Good to hear you are feeling better. xx
Silver for me too, tho I do like how that gold turns out! Glad you are feeling better, just got over a tummy thing myself!
I vote silver! Love the card.
I believe I’d prefer silver stamping. The gold looks fine, though.
Sam, you are such an inspiration–another beautiful card. Silver or gold would depend upon my mood. I would appreciate it if you, or one of your many fans, would share once again the size and source of the magnets that you use. So glad that you are feeling better.
Add another to the silver team.
I am in both camps, I do like this card. Glad you are better Sam, hope it was not passed to the boys.
