Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – A Whole Lot of Lovely and a flash of Bermuda Bay….
Oooo how fab is this card? It’s a total black and grey fest, but then that tiny pop of the gorgeous Bermuda Bay blue.
It’s super simple to make a layered card like this. I chose Basic Black, then Basic Grey and finally Smoky Slate for my layers.
The base is a sheet of cardstock cut in half then scored in half. The layers over the top are 1/2 a centimeter (1/4″) shorter and narrower than the previous one, and it creates the gentle colour change you can see.
The top 2 layers have been ‘bound’ with the Basic Black Baker’s Twine, but those are then mounted on Dimensionals to get the bit of lift that you can see.
But where did those tiny diddy flowers come from?
The Tree Builder Punch!
That punch just keeps on giving and giving…. There’s the tree trunk which doubles as a branch, the tree top which could be a cloud or a marshmallow or a pillow or….. then theres an apple, a tiny flower, a bird and a wing which doubles as raindrops or perhaps the flame on a candle. Oh there’s just so much!
Anyway, I hope you like my card!
