Pootles Advent Countdown #19 Hanging Lip Balm Box Tutorial
I do love a cute project and when I went rummaging through my ‘inspiration drawer’ in my desk, I came across some lipbalms that Stampin’ Up! had released as part of a Memento Mall type offering.
They’re standard size, so I was able to use them to design this project and as you can see, the Burts Bees stick balm fits too!
I wanted to have a tree hanging type gift and it amused me that when I filmed this on Friday just gone, I’d had an email notification from a Beauty Blogger that I follow, to say that ‘Beauty Tree Hangers‘ are a thing right now… Clearly I’m on trend with the beauty world too, despite not having worked in it for a couple of years!
So anyway, these make a great tree gift, but as you see in the video, with shorter ribbon ends, they’re a great craft fayre make too! Particularly as you can get 4 holders from a single sheet of cardstock…
I hope you like the video and perhaps make some too!
