Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Greys and Pastels make for pretty cards!
Happy Weekend everyone!
It’s Saturday morning and hopefully I’m still in bed sleeping, but there’s a good chance that a small boy is bouncing on me and making me peel one eye gingerly open. That’s the normal routine here at the weekends. How is it that they’re so reluctant to get up on a school day, yet at the weekend, the earlier the better….
But assuming that coffee is being consumed someone somewhere, let’s get on with today’s project!
It’s very similar to one that I made a few years back and it appeared on my pinterest timeline as a suggested pin. That did tickle me, but I guess my ‘style’ is relatively distinctive and the algorithms on pinterest are likely going to suggest my own stuff to me.
However, that did prompt me to modernise it and make a new version. And that’s why the gorgeous Pink Pirouette, Mint Macaroon and Pool Party are in play.
I punched them with that fabulous Itty Bitty Accents punch and added the tiniest Basics Pearls to their centres.
A Dozen Thoughts is a great stamp set and adding that into a Large Oval with a Scallop Oval base on the top of some baker’s twine made a simple sentiment.
I rather like the soft pastels over the Basic Grey.

very nice love the colours.
Sam, the basic gray is so pretty, I just bought a pack myself! Perhaps I will use it for some spring cards as the spring colors look so lovely! Enjoy the weekend with the boys!
Sam, you haven’t merged your two companies on Sunday’s since the first of the year. Is that because of SU’s policies or just a choice you made? I haven’t joined SU because of my other craft cooperations, and you might have reaffirmed my decision if you can’t do it now either. Not prying; just interested. Myra
amazingly nice together!
