Pootles’ SpringWatch Way Back Wednesday Fold Flat Party Bag Tutorial
Happy Wednesday everyone! Way Back Wednesday!
I loved the responses I’ve been getting over the past few weeks about this new weekly theme and last week because of the SpringWatch series, I filmed the old project and you seem to all like it! So I think that we may well stick with this going forward!
And like last week, I’ve gone back to an old SpringWatch project, but from last year this time around. To January when I created the Fold Flat Goodie Bag for my boys. But I’ve brought it up to date with a girly version, but keeping the shape and fold the same, and the stapling-of-ribbons-on the same idea too!
I’m definitely a girl who likes to save space and with there being rather large quantities of boxes and bags in my house, I am a fan of fold flat….
So I hope you like the project and that you like the modernised version!

Hi Sam, I would love to see a new video of your older projects. Actually, when you first said Way Back Wednesday, I thought that we would see a video of you making an old project with new papers and colours. Thanks, Marian x
Love this little bag…I’ve tried to make these little bags and now I’m guessing that I wasn’t brave enough to fold them correctly…now I will tried again…so thank you so much…also I think it would be so much easier on us to see the old tutorial with the updated products…that way we can…buy…buy…buy…as always thank you so much for sharing these awesome tutorials with us…

Hi Sam!
Great project! Really like seeing new video with new products and the different twist you’re inspired to put on them!
I’ve been watching all your past videos one at a time and I’m in March 2015 right now! Don’t know what I’ll do when I’ve seen them all!!!
Such cute projects! I love your blog and videos – thanks for the inspiration!
Sam,
Two things: first I made this bag as soon as I watched your video; just loved it! I was in such a hurry to see the finished product that I forgot to score the partial score lines but didn’t realize it until I was nearly finished. Long story short, I just showed that paper who was boss as you always tell us to and it turned out just fine! Now a question. I notice that you don’t put the image stickers on the back of your stamps. How does that work? Right now I use rubbing alcohol to slightly dampen a piece of paper towel and clean off my clear block and carefully clean the sticker image on the back of the stamp to remove any oils that might impair the stamp from sticking to the block. This works very well but if I could cut a few seconds from mounting every stamp that might up to minutes saved while doing projects. The backs of the stamps without the sticker isn’t really sticky so what’s your secret? I’ve been following you for quite some time now and want to say a huge “thank you” for sharing your marvelous talent with all of us. You make me look like a rock star!
