Oh I do love black on black heat embossing! It’s such a pretty look and makes for such a stylish card. I’m not sure why I don’t do it more often!

I know you all know that I absolutely adore the First Sight stamp set, but while that beautiful floral image lends itself perfectly to coloured stamping, I wanted to see how it went with heat embossing.  Quite well I think!

As you know, I’m a simple stamper, and this was as easy as any kind of stamping. The whole background is covered with it, so it was simply a case of stamping, sprinkling, heating! Ha! Yes, that simple!

Wanting to keep to one stamp set, I pulled the wording from it too and just punched using the Decorative Label punch and offset over a matching one in the card base colour.

Simple but stylish. And probably quite good to give to a guy….
