Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Adorable Shower/Favour Jars Tutorial
Do you have weddings or baby showers in your future? I’m kind of at the age where I’m attending neither right now. Either all my friends are married or they’ve already had their babies. Having said that, I’ve just become a Great Aunt, so maybe babies and weddings are on the horizon again? The new generation? I have absolutely told my 23 year old nephew off for making me a great aunt. I’ve told him I certainly not old enough and that he’s made me feel ancient! He does know I’m kidding fortunately, but it does feel weird having a brother who’s a grandfather… and we’re both still in our 40s!
Anyway, that aside, I did ponder the wedding/baby thing recently and decided to shop for some weddingy type favour things. You’ll see the enormous box of dragees in the video, but they were more mixed colours and less pastel than I’d thought, so I changed up my plans!
But therein lies one of the best things about Stampin’ Up! – the colours… we have a colour for pretty much anything and I’m pleased that I got a pretty good match here.
So I hope you’re having a good day, that your weekend is full to bursting and that you get a little crafty time in too!

Hi Sam,
Great idea! And I really like how the flower shows more of the colored card stock underneath!
What’s the size of the jars? I found 1.5 ounce jars on Amazon, but that seems awfully small.
I love the jar idea. The lace ribbon really sets them off with the matching butterfly. I must give this a try. Thank you so much for sharing.
to answer Jacquelyn’s question: a 42 mil jar which she suggested using is equivalent to 1.42oz jar. This would be what you are looking at on Amazon.
Thanks so much for the size information. @artgrany
Could you please give me the Amazon link to the jars? I have been looking all over their website and cannot find the ones you used. Thank you.
