Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – February Thank You Cards with Birthday Bouquet
Oh aren’t these just darling?
I’m a huge fan of letting paper do the talking when it’s as beautiful as this…. When I started making my thank you cards right at the start of Febuary, I knew that I had to factor Half Term school holidays in somewhere and that means losing a week of work…. Put it this way, in order to have time off with the children, I have to work far enough ahead to not just cover the week that they’re off, but the week after…
So with that in mind, I wanted to make a beautiful card that I could put together relatively simply and easily. And Birthday Bouquet is definitely the paper to do that with!

The 4 main colours from it are stunning – Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Watermelon Wonder.
I have to confess, I’m not as enamoured with the Watermelon based cards as I am the rest…. they feel a bit ‘harder’ than the others. Is that just me???
However, I’m totally smitten with Soft Suede as a base colour these days, and this DSP is absolutely to thank for that. It barely appears anywhere except for the ice cream cones, but I do adore how it looks on all the cards!
So with my ever faithful ‘One Big Meaning’ stamp set and those darling Bow Paper Clips, I was able to make a beautiful card without having to stress about getting them cut and finished properly (cos no-one likes a sloppy card!) and sent off to everyone in the post!
I hope they’re well received, and I hope you like them too!
