Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Life is Good with Project Life and Love Blossoms
It’s so sad when products retire out of our catalogue. We’ve got 5 weeks until the new one comes out, so I’m using this opportunity to share cards and projects made with some of my favourite pieces.
It’s a little bittersweet when stamps retire, but I see the silver lining of the new goodies that are due to join us instead!
So we have here in front of you the Love Blossoms DSP and the Project Life Remember This stamp set. Both adorable, and I took inspiration from a project I saw (and have now lost) on pinterest that set pink dsp on pale green. Well I took that inspiration and pulled out Mint Macaron for the background and it really does work well!
I’ve been asked lots of times to share how I make my layered cards, and I’ve done one or two videos on them, but I don’t have a particular ‘formula’ as such other than I have one patterned panel that is square (or very nearly) and one that’s an elongated rectangle. As you can see my rectangle doesn’t have paper on it, but the beautiful metallic thread takes its place instead.
Hopefully that will help you, you know me, rules go out the window!
Have a fantastic weekend everyone!
S xx

Hi Sam, How are you and your family? I continue to watch your tutorials. It’s beneficial for me that you DON’T have a particular “formula”. Quite inspirational that one can combine all sorts of beautiful (at least in my opionion..smile..) Creative…Thxs again….Bless you…
Beautiful card, Sam!! I love that color combination.
