Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Pretty Floral Card using Endless Thanks & Birthday Bouquet DSP
I do like a pretty floral card. A couple of years ago and not so much, but I admit it, I like flowers now. And pink. Although not too much pink….. well, okay, pink. Yes, love it. And those flowers!
And it was my own card from Sunday that inspired this one! The one with the hot pink striped washi tape! Yes that one!
It’s essentially the same design, but looks so different. I’ve used 1/2″ (1cm) strips of patterned paper on the sides rather than washi tape and instead of punch outs, I’ve hand stamped the flowers running up the side.
I do however wish I’d used my stamp a ma jig when stamping the green words…. the ‘for your kindness’ is about 2mm higher on the right end than the left. Darn it! Next time, I will not be so lazy and take the time to place. But hey, it’s handmade…. perhaps that could be it’s charm?
I love the Endless Thanks stamp set, and while I’ve only used a tiny bit of it, I’ve used it a lot over the last year, and am delighted it’s not on the retiring list!

Beautiful card, Sam!!
Love that card Sam. Need to do a 50th Birthday card and this would suit very well.

I love the way you’ve used the paper strips- I thought it was Washi tape!
The whole card is adorable! I LOVE the strips of DSP…and, who doesn’t have enough scrap DSP laying around to make about a million of these little cuties? Awesome idea!
Very soft and romantic card!
