Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Simply Awesomely Artistic

Pootles Stampin' Up! Grab Bag Giveaway Random Selection (1)Pootles Stampin' Up! Grab Bag GiveawaySo this week, from May 21st to May 29th while I’m away, I am doing a Grab-Bag Giveaway! I have a whole load of unopened embellishments, ribbons, trims and more. This is just a small selection taken from the much bigger box also pictured! How do you get one though? Well ALL orders over £20/25€ will qualify for a grab bag goodie. At the point in time of flying these are already bagged up, I’ve no idea what’s inside each bag, so I will grab one at random, pop your address on the outside and post it off to you! You could place 1 order and get 1, or place 5 and get 5 bags through the mail! This is only open to UK, Germany, France, Austria and The Netherlands. It is also provided by me and will be posted by me in the first week of June.

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Simply Awesomely Artistic Close UpI like to think that I create a variety of cards in many and varied styles. However I’d say that the one thing that goes across all of them is a need for speed and simplicity. Not because I have a lack of time, but more I have a lack of stickability and zone out quite quickly. If a project is going to take an age to complete, I’m less likely to make a start on it and will always head for the quicker option.

I think part of that is also born out of a need to get as many people crafting as possible. I dislike hearing ‘I’m not creative’ or ‘I can’t craft’ and believe that everyone has the ability if they take a chance. And so my crafting is a way to prove that crafting doesn’t have to be over complicated and can be pretty.

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Pootles - Simply Awesomely Artistic

So today I have a super simple card for you! It uses 3 of the stamps from the Awesomely Artistic set. The word, the splat (!) and that textured panel at the back.

That’s all it is! I guess there is some ‘skill’ involved in placement or colour combinations, but really, just play. Just have fun. It’s only ink and paper. What’s the worst that could happen?

Have a wonderful day everyone, and I hope you’re doing something crafty somewhere!
