Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip Card Swaps using Playful Backgrounds
As I said yesterday, I managed to sign myself up for 2 sets of swaps on the recent Incentive Trip. Oops! But like yesterday, instead of stressing about what I was making, I made something that I loved and was totally me.
I love our splattery speckledy type stamps and I love that there’s a whole suite in the new catalogue that is home to my favourites of Gorgeous Grunge and Timeless Textures. It is also home to Playful Backgrounds which is what I used under my flowers.
I just picked a trio of colours that I loved together – Mint Macaron, Emerald Envy and Smoky Slate – and worked with those. The grey and paler green have been stamped off first, I wanted an even softer look for that, but I love it!
And of course, with my new found adoration for the Grateful Bunch stamp set, I decided that the flowers needed to be the focus with the Blossom Bunch Punch coming into play too!
And no card of mine would be complete without some PootleLoops on there, so that’s the reason for the twist of Metallic Thread. Although after I’d completed all 26, I was pleased to put it away! Whew! that stuff tangles easily when you pull too much off the reel!
I’m hoping that my swap recipients like these as much as I do!
