Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Watercolour Love using Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Wishes
Well it has been a while since I got my aqua painter brushes out, so I decided to have a play with a trio of colours to see what would happen…. These are Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron and Flirty Flamingo. Aren’t they gorgeous when they’re colour washed out?
I created the watercolour part first and decided that I wanted to keep the decoration simple on it.
We have a couple of new metallic threads in our catalogue, and while the black isn’t metallic, it’s still gorgeous! I popped that behind the Love that I die cut from the Sunshine Wishes set and it was enough.
A great guy card I think, particularly because it’s accented in black and smoky slate. So even though it has pinks, I think it’s manly enough. But if you want, I think it would look great with oranges or blues washed on the paper.
Have a fantastic Sunday,
S xx

It is perfect, just the way it is!
Like it, might try with a blue instead of pink, as the lady who I have in mind for this one is not a pink person. She would end the friendship if I gave her pink.
BEAUTIFUL! Did you do the color wash on Watercolor Paper?
Thanks for lovely idea too!
Beautiful. I’m a sucker for anything watercolored. Love it! Thanks.
Beautiful card
This is so beautiful with the 3 colours, I love it.
