Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Colour Your World Blog Hop – Sunshine Wishes
Ah it’s that time again. That time when I get all stressy and worry about the colour projects. How is it that a set of colours look so good on the inspiration photo but then become so hard to craft with?
I cheated this month and left out that horrid orange and then slipped the green in behind some black. Is it really bad to cheat like that??
You’ll have to laugh though, I got so worked up over this project that I ended up making 2 of them! You’ll see the second one on Sunday!
So we’re as ever, hopping all over the world and I’ll pass you now over to the team, but before I go, I used the Sunshine Wishes framelits exclusively for this project. Don’t you just love it when that happens?

Matting and layering is an excellent way of making a clashing/jarring colour in the body of a card or image seem more harmonious. They only need to be thin lines of colour just ‘peeking’ (pun intended) out.
Do you ever play around with a card once it has been filmed?
Good to know those I consider “Pro’s” have hiccups now and again. Thanks for being so honest and giving the rest of us a boost….
Love the card! Simple but elegant.
I enjoy all of your projects!
Thank you for sharing!
Blessings
So I can’t order through you Sam, because I’m in the US right?
You’re the reason I started crafting.
Another fresh and sunny card Sam! Love it.
