Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Mixed Borders and Bloomin Hearts
I do love a card that’s very much me and yet very much someone else. I wanted to send a card recently to my upline and this was a mixture of my styling with a nod to hers! She layers her cards up a lot and I like to do it too, and where I use lots of different colours combinations, particulary brights and regals, she tends to err towards the soft subtles.
So this is my card for her and I hope she liked it!
I love the new Mixed Borders stamp set. So clever, its on long stamp for the flowers and there’s a small gap off to one side where you add the wording. Clever isn’t it!
I used markers to colour in the flowers and it was while colouring them in that I realised they were very similar to the flowers in the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits set. So a couple of vellum ones and a couple in the blushing bride and I was happy with my card!
What do you think?

Lovely card Sam. Thank you for sharing this.
Hi Sam ~ A simple card yet so beautiful
Sam, Your card is adorable! Love the soft colors. I had not recognized the stamp because the added punched flowers made me think it was an arched stamp if that makes sense. I know what you mean about a card for you and someone else. It’s not my brights but I love it! Ramsey from Maryland
Beautiful card. I would love to see a video tutorial of some of the cards you make, like this one. What do you think?
Absolutely lovely!
I like it! That stamp set has caught my eye many times! So clever!
Very lovely! Thanks.
