Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Chocolate Treat Boxes using Botanical Builder Framelits
Did you know that being a full time Stampin’ Up! demonstrator plays havoc with your waistline? In order to bring you pretty and gorgeous and edible projects, my waistline is suffering.
It’s not a hardship you understand, but I just wanted to absolve myself of full and total responsibility for the measurement around my waist….
I jest though, because the reality is that all the edible projects I make are either passed on to my boys or gifted away. It’s rare that I ever eat them myself! Thank you SlimFast for keeping me on the straight and narrow!
These particular treat boxes were gifted away to my children’s teachers at the end of the summer term a month ago (clearly I also plan well ahead of time) and the boys have told me their teachers were stunned and loved them!
That makes what I do all the sweeter. *pun soooo totally intended*
These are easy to make, the hard part is choosing the colours. And that’s not hard….!
I went with these colours with my chocolate foiled balls
Real Red and Blushing Bride
So Saffron and Crushed Curry
Emerald Envy and Mint Macaron
Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant
Sweet Sugarplum and Pink Pirouette
While I remember, this video was filmed about 6 weeks ago and no the missing framelit never turned up so I bought a new set. Then just a few days ago it popped out from underneath my chest of drawers under my desk. I’d swear I’d looked under there first time around. Typical…!
Have a great day everyone!

They look stunning Sam, I will watch the youtube later today. It is annoying when you look for something, then go and buy a new one and then find the other one turns up. I have done that but not with craft stuff.
So sweet Sam, and thanks to you I have the boxes so can make some.
Try and store the dies on a magnetic sheet, they will have less chance of slipping off and scurrying away.
Lovely idea Sam – do you have a link to the sweets (just looked through Amazon and can’t seem to find a bag of mixed colours!). I have bought the plain colours but expensive way to do this! Many thanks.
Like this idea Sam. Thank you for sharing this. The boxes look very pretty.
These are just adorable!!!!! Love them!!!

Wonderful boxes, I would love to create this. Do you have a link for the milk chocolate balls. I could not locate the variety pack on Amazon. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
