Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Butterflies and Touches of Texture
I love reading the Stampin’ Up! catalogues. I love to read them for shopping purposes, but equally for inspiration too.
Die Cutting is not something that I’ve done on a large scale in the past, but with so many incredible dies in the catalogue, I find myself drawn to them more and more. However, I wouldn’t have thought to have die cut a clear acetate spotty butterfly had it not been for page 113 of the Annual Catalogue!
*waits for everyone to stop flipping through the catalogue ’cause I couldn’t’ find a photo of their example…*
I loved the look and although that’s all that I took from that project, I may well case the rest!
My butterflies are die cut with the Bold Butterflies and the Butterflies thinlits and simply set over a little stamping from the Touches of Texture stamp set.
I kept my colours simple too, just the crumb cake and flirty flamingo. I don’t think it needs anymore does it….
Have a great day everyone, we’re on day 2 of the theme park. I know, a sucker for punishment aren’t I!
