Pootles’ Way Back Wednesday Tall Hexagonal Box
Oooo, don’t you just love swapsies colours? I decided that I would go pink and blue like my original project, but this time using In Colours. Sweet Sugarplum is one I use a lot, but Dapper Denim less so. Not really sure why, it’s just not a go-to colour for me.
But I love how it looks here on this project!
This is a trip not that far back in time, 14 months ago to July last year, and I think it looks just as good in these colours as it did with the bright Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo from back then. Perhaps because those were very summery colours and these are a bit more muted – Autumnal maybe?
Anyway, it’s very easy to make, the hard part is putting the bottom together, but even that’s not too hard!
The Blossom Bunch Punch is perfect for scattering flowers on this project, far quicker than the first time around when I used lots of punches and colours!
Have a great Wednesday everyone!
