Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles -Tea Bag treats using so much DSP!
Oh oh! So many papers! So many colours! So much to share!
I had the best time making all of these, and the best part was playing around with all of the colours!
Amazon throws up so many ideas and treats and bargains that I often don’t have to venture out of the house to get my inspiration, so when I stumbled across some adorable tea bags back in July, I knew I had to get them and I knew what I wanted to do with them.
Each tea bag is wrapped individually and the company has made that packaging colour reflect the flavours inside, so I wanted to do the same.
Pulling out my catalogue, I selected papers that matched and there were some colour combinations that I wouldn’t have chosen normally, but have now taken a moment to look at more closely! Who’d have thought Mint Macaron and Melon Mambo would go so well together?
My papers all measure 5 x 5″ (12.5 x 12.5cm) and I started the punching and scoring with my Envelope Punch board at 2-3/8″ (6cm) and then followed around.
The belly band is 1 x 7″ (2.5 x 18cm) and I scored that twice, once each at 1.5 and 4.5″ (3.75 and 11.5cm).
Makes a cute gift doesn’t it!
I hope you like it, perhaps you hunt on Amazon for inspiration too?
