Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Fat Squishy Sloping Box using Petals & Paisley DSP
Well, I know you probably all know me quite well, but in case you didn’t, I love paper. I love all of our offerings, there’s only a handful of individual sheets that I don’t like, but because I love the other sides, that’s okay!
I made this bag forever ago in Moroccan DSP, but when the Autumn/Winter catalogue came out, I knew I had to recreate it in the Petals & Paisley papers. And I think it works equally well!
Both of the paper designs lend themselves well to this project with it’s gorgeous sloping sides and it’s fat bottom! It’s that sort of TARDIS type bag that holds so much more than you realise! Just under 3″ across the base, it actually measures in at 2-7/8 x 4-1/4″ (7 x 10.5cm) and yes, holds a lot!
I have made similar bags before, they are super for gifting, super for treating and super for table decorations.
Now who’s joining me on a retro 70s trip down memory lane…?
Paper 6 x 12″ (15 x 30cm)
Score on the LONG side at 2-7/8, 5-3/4, 8-5/8, 11-1/2″ (7, 14, 21, 28cm)
Score on the SHORT side at 1-3/4″ (4.5cm)
VERTICAL Tag – 1.5 x 3.5″ (4 x 9cm) AND 1.25 x 3.25″ (3.5 x 8.5cm)
HORIZONTAL TAG – 2.75 x 1.5″ (7 x 3.5cm)
