Pootles’ Colour Challenge #PCC012

Well here’s a funny story for you. When I’m out and about I’m always looking at colours and shapes and combinations of them. But recently I changed my office layout following the purchase of some paper storage racks that I’d spotted on eBay and snaffled up for a bargain price. They’re brilliant and allow me to have all the cardstock, paper etc out so that I can see them more easily and work with different colours more frequently.
Anyway, with the new placement of my cardstock, I have them grouped into colour families and the 2 sets of In Colours are one above the other. And it was while looking (okay, drooling over and stroking) the new paper arrangement that I spotted this trio. The 3 colours are right next to one another in the way I have them laid out and I love them!
I have some more colour trios set across my shelves that have fallen perfectly and I can’t wait to work with them too!
So my card today simply uses cardstock in the Flirty Flamingo and Tip Top Taupe with DSP background papers in Mint Macaron. This is the real showcase. Then a little matching ribbon and simple stamping from Garden in Bloom and the card is made.
It’s okay to go simple with cardmaking, particularly when you’re under challenge circumstances!
