Pootles’ Colour Challenge #PCC013
*Don’t forget, you don’t need to use all of the colours listed above, but if you’re seeking inspiration, click each colour and you can see all the products Stampin’ Up! has in those colours*
How’s this for a funny combination! I’ve become totally addicted to working with mint macaron and emerald envy together, and although I probably wouldn’t have put them together for Christmas, the new autumn winter catalogue has shown that they’re a great festive pair. But it was while thinking along those lines that I wondered at a couple of other pairings that the catalogue has shown us. The cherry cobbler and chocolate chip that seem to be across a few of the photos the catalogue has.
I didn’t like them at all when I laid them out first to work with, but the more I moved the ink pads around (that’s what I pull out to get an idea of colours – so scientific…), the more I liked how it would work.
So I made a little bough of green using the Pretty Pines thinlits and rather than cut the pine cones out, I decided to hang the adorable mini ones instead! I have had this card stood up for a while as I worried that 3 might make it sag, but not so far!
Have a great weekend everyone. And maybe pull out the 4 colours and just sort of ‘shuffle’ them about on your work space. See what happens!
