Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Watercoloured Happy Ornament
I like nothing more than a fast card, and what’s faster than one single stamp and a sploosh of watercolouring. Probably not a lot!
I can’t believe I’ve left it until now to ink up this stamp though. What was I thinking???!!!
I’ve stamped mine onto Shimmery White paper though rather than watercolour paper. I was working with the theory that I could ‘move’ the ink a bit more on this paper. I kind of did, although it has ‘blocked’ in a few places. But I still like it!
That Smoky Slate shading around the bauble is a technique I spotted somewhere in the catalogue. Can’t remember which page, but it really does lift the bauble off the page!
Mine is coloured with Real Red ink with a dab of Tip Top Taupe on the top and a Garden Green ribbon.
Honestly, it’s so quick to make. Have a go!
