Pootles Advent Countdown 2016 #23 Unusual Closure Fold Flat Box
Oooooo I am in love with this little box! I wanted to make a variation on the traditional ‘fold flat’ box, and this is what I came up with!
I love the closure of it and that is what makes this the star of the project, but I also love that you can get 2 of these from a sheet of cardstock…. Yes, you know what I’m like, I love getting multiple projects from a sheet of cardstock, so all round, I’m very happy!
I promise, this box is my usual easy-to-make-but-looks-complicated style, and that’s always a good thing! I’ve just shown it to my husband (an engineer) and he said “wow” and he’s not one to usually comment overly much on crafting projects…
So I hope you like it, and I hope you can make one to wow some friends too!

Hi Sam I just love this little box, you saved my day. I bought some scented envelope sachets, and was raking my brain about a box. A angel (You) saved my day thank you so I am making some of the boxes. I just had to change the size to fit the sachet nice and snug, 11″ X 4 1/2″.
Have a great day

Hiya, I’m very impressed with all your projects, could I ask what kind of adhesive is needed for card, in one of your tutorials you said you can’t use snail but the “fuse” you mention does not seem to be for sale on the website? Kind regards, Jackie
