Pootles Advent Countdown 2016 #24 Leaflets Illuminated Wreath
I had to do it didn’t I? Make a new wreath for Christmas….
I love this one, and it’s a great project for if you feel you need that extra decoration in your house but you’re not quite sure what to add. My house doesn’t lend itself to garlands or paperchains (no picture rails), but we have wall lights and hanging decorations are perfect!
Mine is easy to make, you simply need a wicker wreath and some battery lights. I hunt on amazon for these sorts of things and you can get some great deals and often, next day delivery!
After that, it really does depend on how you want to decorate it. Last year I had roses and flowers in black, white and silver glitter, but this year I’ve gone for the leaves from the Leaflets Framelits and simply silver foil and white.
I like the simplistic look of it, and it’s been hanging in my lounge since I made it a month or so ago!
Have a wonderful weekend, and yes, this isn’t quite the last of my countdown projects, there’s one more next week…!
