Happy New Year!

did you stay up until Midnight? Did you see the new year in with friends and family and fireworks? We tend to not go out at New Year, mostly because of the children, but also because we are very happy with our own company, so New Year is something we celebrate on our own with great food, good movies and one another.

But my card today has a little ‘midnight’ in it with that beautiful Night of Navy cardstock, and those flashes of colour of the flowers are offset beautifully. A little hint of winter with Spring on it’s way for us in Europe, although Spring is still many months away yet… one can dream!

I love making cards like this and a New Year is both a reflection of what’s to come, but also what’s gone by and this style of card is very me, and very much my style of 2016.
