Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Penned & Painted and Watercoloured
I love a single layer card. If you’re not sure what that is, it’s a card where all the stamping is done on one sheet of cardstock, without any embellishment or punch outs etc.
It’s a great simple technique that you can ‘lift’ with detailing. So in my case, my stamping was all done simply with Black ink and the ‘elevation’ came from splodging some Rich Razzleberry from a watercolour pencil into the center of each flower and then pulling it out to a fade with my aqua painters. Instantly it went from ‘flat’ to ‘3d’ with a simply swoosh of my brush!
I added a little more detail with wink of stella in the centre of each flower, and again, it lifts it to another level!
Finally, a simple sentiment from the You’ve Got This stamp set and my card is complete. So so easy, yet so so pretty.
Who is doing simple crafts today? It’s Sunday afterall, so don’t make it complicated, make it relaxed!
